Full job description

Pizza Pizza Keswick is looking for reliable, energetic and hardworking Pizza Cooks to join our team. The ideal candidate can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent food quality, cleanliness and customer service.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas, wings, fries and other menu items according to Pizza Pizza standards.
Follow recipes, portion sizes and customer order instructions accurately.
Prepare dough, vegetables, sauces and other ingredients.
Operate ovens, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely.
Monitor cooking times and food quality.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, preparation area and workstation.
Wash dishes and complete opening and closing duties.
Follow food-safety, sanitation and workplace-safety procedures.
Restock ingredients, packaging and supplies as needed.
Answer phones, assist customers and handle the cash register when required.
Work cooperatively with cooks, cashiers, drivers and management.
Complete other restaurant duties assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

Previous pizza-store, restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
Training will be provided to suitable candidates.
Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Dependable, punctual and responsible.
Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing regular kitchen duties.
Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
A valid Ontario Food Handler Certificate is an asset.
