Full job description

JOB TITLE: Paving/ Asphalt/ Base/ and Concrete Positions

Grindstone Paving and Excavating Ltd has been providing asphalt paving services for private and commercial projects in Alberta since 2017. Our operations also include grading, gravelling, and snow removal services.

Grindstone Paving & Excavating is currently looking to hire for all positions who will contribute to our team of dedicated personnel by bringing their experience and high-quality workmanship to every project.

POSITIONS TO BE FILLED

Base Crew All Positions incl Surveyors, Grader, Skid steer Operators, Ground Crew
Equipment Operators All Position, incl Truck Drivers Paver, Rollerman, Paver Operators,
Asphalt Crew Positions, inc Rakerman, Screedhand crew
Concrete Crew Position

Required Experience

· High School diploma or GED

Must have a valid driver’s license or required licences for equipment operation.
OH&S Certificate, WHMIS, CSTS certification is required.
Must be able to perform manual labour
2-5 years’ experience required

Additional Requirements

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

· Ability to work outside, on uneven ground, for long periods of time in different weather conditions

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, and crouch for long periods of time\

· Travel may be required

· The position often requires overtime and can be seasonal in nature
