Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves managing project timelines, budgets, safety standards, and quality assurance to ensure successful delivery of construction initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction experience, strong project management capabilities, and a keen eye for quality control. This position offers an opportunity to lead diverse construction projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of safe, efficient, and high-quality infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise all phases of construction projects to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate seamless project execution.
Conduct detailed construction estimating to develop accurate project budgets and resource allocations.
Oversee construction inspection processes to verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Perform quality inspections regularly to identify issues early and implement corrective actions promptly.
Manage procurement activities including sourcing materials, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery.
Supervise site safety protocols and conduct safety audits to maintain a secure working environment.
Review technical drawings and specifications; provide technical guidance on electrical systems and other specialized areas as needed.
Monitor progress through site visits and reporting; adjust plans proactively to mitigate delays or cost overruns.
Ensure all work meets strict quality control standards through rigorous inspection procedures.

Skills

Proven experience in construction management across diverse projects with a focus on quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control measures.
Expertise in conducting thorough construction inspections and quality control assessments.
Electrical experience is highly desirable for overseeing electrical components within projects.
Demonstrated ability in project management software and tools for scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering documents accurately.
Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry.
