Transaction Banking technology team focuses on delivering top-tier technology solutions to enable and grow the global GTB business.
Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Developer to design, develop, and support next-generation transaction banking and ledger platforms. The successful candidate will possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, APIs, and Event-Driven Architecture while contributing to the modernization of enterprise banking solutions. Experience with Camunda and/or FluxNova workflow orchestration platforms is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. The role requires collaboration with architects, business analysts, quality engineering teams, and platform teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.
Responsibilities: -
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
- Build scalable microservices and APIs that support transaction processing, workflow orchestration, ledger, liquidity, and payments capabilities.
- Develop highly available and performant solutions following cloud-native design principles.
- Participate in system design, technical architecture reviews, and code reviews.
- Design and implement complex business workflows using Camunda or FluxNova.
- Integrate workflow engines with downstream and upstream applications through REST APIs, messaging, and event-driven patterns
- Build integrations using REST, Kafka, asynchronous messaging, and batch frameworks.
- Develop data processing and reconciliation capabilities leveraging relational databases and event streams.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and auditability across systems
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and deployment automation.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using enterprise tools.
- Extensive experience using GitHub and Bitbucket for source control, branching strategies, and code reviews.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum processes and the ability to lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7–10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale mission-critical applications.
- Expert knowledge of the technical environment/ tools (e.g., user environment, applications, software, hardware, programming languages and operating systems) in own area
- Experience in financial services, banking, payments, or treasury platforms is highly desirable.
