We are currently looking to hire a full-time liquor store sales clerk to join our team. The position will report directly to the store manager.

Tasks

Provide customer service and handle customer queries, complaints, and refund of products
Operate sale till and authorize and make payments by cheque for vendors
Keep track of inventory and ensure inventory is stocked up
Authorize and make payments by cheque and credit/debit card payments
Assist sales team and ensure a positive and safe working environment is maintained
Tabulate total payment for goods or services required and receive payment for goods or services
Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
Stock shelves and clean counter area, Wrap or place merchandise in bags
Verify the age of customers when selling alcohol products to person who looks younger than 25 years
Order and receive liquor and other supplies

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Work Environment:

Salary: $15 to $18/hour based on experience
Working Hours: Full time position; 30 to 50 hours per week
Working Shifts: 5 to 6 days per week (Morning/Evening shifts)
Eligible for bonuses based on performance and sales
Fast paced and tight deadlines from time to time
May require handling of heavy loads and extending periods of walking and/or standing

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
