We proudly operate a 7,000 sq. ft. retail space located in Etobicoke, ON. Founded with a focus on reliability and performance, the company serves a diverse customer base that includes law enforcement personnel, security professionals, outdoor adventurers, and responsible civilians.

Summary

416 Tactical Supply is seeking a highly organized, personable, and driven Business Development Associate to join our team. This is a business-to-business sales and account role — not a marketing or design position. It is ideal for someone who is charismatic, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with client relationship management and sales growth. You will act as a key point of contact for government agencies and large clients, coordinating quotes for orders of all sizes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

In addition to client coordination, you will manage the product lines within our distribution portfolio — developing sales strategies to grow their presence, managing product inventory, and supporting our dealer network across Canada. The ideal candidate is confident working with numbers and thrives in a people-focused, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with government agencies and clients.
Coordinate and manage quotes for small and large-scale orders, ensuring accurate and fair pricing and timely delivery.
Communicate confidently with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare and assist with bids and tenders — building pricing, analyzing margins, and ensuring quotes are competitive and profitable.
Grow the sales of assigned product lines within our distribution portfolio, identifying opportunities for expansion and increased market presence.
Oversee the performance and availability of each product line we distribute.
Support and manage dealer relationships, ensuring consistent communication.
Collaborate with the internal team to streamline administrative processes and improve operational alignment.
Work directly with the Operations Manager and Assistant Manager to fulfill orders and execute sales strategy.
Maintain organized records of quotes, orders, and client communications.

Qualifications

Experience in an administrative or sales support role.
Comfortable working with numbers, pricing structures, and basic financial calculations.
Able to manage multiple priorities and projects with great attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving and account growth.
Experience working with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms is a valuable asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence speaking to clients.
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects and responsibilities.
Experience working with government agencies, procurement processes, or large-scale orders is an asset.
Familiarity with tactical products, gear, or related product categories is considered an asset but not required.
