Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! Duties

Assist the head chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to quality standards
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency to meet restaurant specifications
Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimize waste
Support restaurant management by coordinating service times, overseeing food presentation, and serving guests when needed
Train new team members on kitchen procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry best practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of kitchen operations and hospitality standards
Excellent food handling skills and understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through high-quality cuisine
