Full job description

Beechgrove Country Foods is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing daily production activities, supporting employees on the production floor, and ensuring food safety, quality, and production targets are met.

Beechgrove Country Foods is a meat manufacturing facility, and our operations involve working with raw beef, pork, and chicken products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support production staff during the assigned shift
Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently and safely
Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to food safety and regulatory standards
Ensure proper handling of raw meat products including beef, pork, and chicken
Coordinate with QA, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve production issues
Provide coaching, guidance, and support to employees on the production floor
Ensure proper documentation of production records and operational processes
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment
Assist with training new employees and developing team members

We are currently seeking one candidate for the day shift. Flexibility to accommodate business needs is required.

Qualifications

Previous supervisory experience in food manufacturing or production environments
Comfortable working in an environment handling raw meat products
Strong understanding of production processes and equipment
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, etc.) is an asset
Experience in meat or protein processing is considered an asset
