Full job description

Nanaimo Ad Controller

Black Press Media is looking for an Ad Controller to work closely with our sales team across our Canadian divisions from our Nanaimo office.

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We are looking for a hands-on coordinator that can work with our sales and pagination teams in the process of creating our weekly newspapers.

Your responsibilities would include:

Process insertion orders for ad bookings into our CSM in a timely manner to meet deadlines
Create physical layouts of the papers for editorial & creative
Manage prepay accounts and record incoming payments
Manage account inquiries from clients & Sales reps
Manage advertising copy workflow
Manage set up of special sections for layouts & ad bookings
