POSITION SUMMARY
The Campaign Operations Coordinator provides administrative, operational, and donor support to United Way Winnipeg's Campaign Team, helping to ensure workplace campaigns, fundraising initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities are delivered effectively and efficiently.
Working closely with Workplace Campaign Specialists, Growth Initiative Specialists, volunteers, donors, and workplace partners, this role supports the day-to-day coordination of campaign activities through strong organization, data management, donor support, and administrative excellence. The Campaign Operations Coordinator plays an important role in maintaining accurate records, supporting fundraising operations, and ensuring stakeholders receive timely, responsive, and professional service.
This position is part of the bargaining unit represented by Unifor Local 191 and is governed by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective agreement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Campaign Operations & Administration

Provide administrative and operational support to Campaign team members, volunteers, and fundraising initiatives

Process and accurately record donations received through multiple channels while maintaining data integrity and confidentiality

Support the administration of online donation platforms and fundraising systems, ensuring a positive user experience and timely issue resolution

Prepare reports, presentations, campaign materials, correspondence, and supporting documentation

Maintain accurate donor, workplace, volunteer, and campaign records within organizational databases

Conduct research and compile information to support campaign planning, fundraising strategies, and departmental priorities
Planning & Coordination

Coordinate virtual and in-person meetings, including scheduling, agendas, logistics, technology requirements, and meeting documentation

Support the planning and implementation of workplace campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events, and volunteer engagement activities

Assist with tracking timelines, deliverables, and follow-up actions to support campaign and operational objectives
Donor & Stakeholder Support

Serve as a point of contact for donors, workplace representatives, volunteers, and other stakeholders

Respond to inquiries and provide accurate, timely, and professional support through phone, email, and other communication channels

Support donor stewardship activities by facilitating donation transactions, providing information, and ensuring a positive donor experience

Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders through responsive and collaborative service
Systems & Continuous Improvement

Perform data entry, database maintenance, reporting, and spreadsheet analysis to support decision-making and campaign operations

Provide first-level support for donation processing, online platforms, and administrative systems, escalating issues as appropriate

Identify and resolve routine operational issues by gathering information, evaluating options, and implementing practical solutions

Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, systems, and service delivery
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Administrative Assistant, Office Administration, or a related post-secondary certificate or diploma, combined with 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience working with CRM systems, donor databases, fundraising platforms, or other business application software

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
-
1–3 years of experience supporting fundraising campaigns, workplace campaigns, account management, partnership development, donor services, or related administrative functions is preferred
