Our client, is further developing an Industry-leading Integrity Management Program which ensures our natural gas system assets are safe and reliable. The Integrity department is accountable for understanding the condition of our assets, confirming they are fit for continued use, or justifying replacement projects if they are nearing end of life.
This role resides in the Integrity Assessments & Risk - Facilities and Distribution (IAR-F&D) team. Facilities Integrity focuses on sites that connect multiple assets that supply gas to customers and perform functions such as increasing or decreasing pressure, as well as measuring and conditioning natural gas. The team estimates different Risks associated with these Facilities by utilizing Reliability Engineering concepts, Statistics/Mathematics and Risk management techniques. Each of the unique assets in these sites must be assessed to confirm they are safe and fit for continued service.
The specific role will have a focus on quantitative analysis related to probability of failure of assets and consequence of failures due to potential failures of the assets at critical facilities. This process requires the collection and review of relevant data, data quality assessments, data pattern and trend evaluation, model development and selection, results verification & validation and supporting decision-making by appropriate interpretations of findings.
Education: the candidates would be required to have at minimum an Engineering degree (Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical)
Technical skills:
- Experience in data analytics including data quality assessments.
- Experience in Python/Reliasoft/Matlab programming.
- Helpful but not mandatory:
- Experience in Machine Learning or AI.
o Experience with (reliability/statistical) modeling.
o Experience in working with Maximo/SAP.
Pay rate is between $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
