Description du poste – Technicien(ne) comptable / Tenue de livres

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) technicien(ne) comptable rigoureux(se), organisé(e) et fiable afin de soutenir les opérations financières quotidiennes de notre organisation en pleine croissance. La personne retenue sera responsable de maintenir des dossiers financiers précis, traiter les transactions, soutenir la préparation des rapports financiers et participer à l’administration de la paie. Ce poste requiert un grand souci du détail, de la discrétion, ainsi qu’une bonne capacité à collaborer avec les équipes internes et les comptables externes.

Responsabilités principales

· Agir à titre de personne-ressource pour l’équipe des finances et le comptable externe relativement aux activités financières quotidiennes

· Gérer les transactions financières quotidiennes et les rapports de dépenses

· Maintenir des registres financiers précis en créant les comptes, enregistrant les transactions et en assurant le respect des exigences légales

· Attribuer et enregistrer les transactions financières dans le système comptable

· Vérifier et traiter les documents justificatifs tels que les factures, reçus et dossiers de paiement

· Recevoir et concilier les paiements en argent comptant avec les factures afin d’assurer l’équilibre des registres comptables

· S’assurer que les dépôts bancaires quotidiens sont effectués et comptabilisés adéquatement

· Préparer les chèques, paiements et dépôts bancaires

· Soutenir le comptable dans la préparation des états financiers, incluant l’état des résultats, le bilan, les flux de trésorerie et les rapports de profits et pertes (P&L)

· Préparer des rapports financiers en recueillant, analysant et résumant les informations et tendances financières

· Analyser les rapports financiers et signaler les écarts ou commentaires pertinents lorsque requis

· Veiller au respect des exigences légales et réglementaires fédérales, provinciales et locales

· Participer aux audits internes et externes

· Effectuer le suivi et l’enregistrement des flux de trésorerie et des investissements de l’entreprise

· Traiter la paie de façon précise et dans les délais établis, incluant les heures travaillées, déductions et ajustements

· Maintenir les dossiers de paie et la documentation des employés à jour

· Participer aux remises gouvernementales, déclarations et documents de fin d’année liés à la paie

· Répondre aux questions relatives à la paie provenant des employés et de la direction dans un délai raisonnable

L’expérience avec Power BI est considérée comme un atout, mais n’est pas requise.

Job Description – Bookkeeper

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of our growing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, supporting financial reporting, and assisting with payroll administration. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external accountants.

Main Responsibilities

· Act as a resource person for the finance team and external accountant regarding daily financial activities

· Manage daily financial transactions and expense reports

· Maintain accurate records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements

· Allocate and record financial transactions in the accounting system

· Verify and process source documents such as invoices, receipts, and payment records

· Receive and reconcile cash payments against invoices to ensure proper balancing of accounting records

· Ensure daily cash deposits are completed and recorded accurately

· Prepare cheques, payments, and bank deposits

· Support the accountant in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and P&L reports

· Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends

· Analyze financial reports and provide feedback or highlight variances when required

· Ensure compliance with federal, provincial/state, and local legal and financial requirements

· Assist with internal and external audits

· Track and record company cash flow and investments

· Process payroll accurately and on schedule, including employee hours, deductions, and adjustments

· Maintain payroll records and employee payroll documentation

· Assist with payroll remittances, government filings, and year-end payroll documentation

· Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and management in a timely manner

Experience with Power BI is considered an asset, but is not required.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
