Imaged Advertising Creations (IAC) is a leading provider of large-format printing and custom signage solutions. We specialize in high-impact visual displays for trade shows, corporate interiors, retail, and experiential marketing. With cutting-edge technology and in-house production capabilities, we’re known for speed, precision, and innovation.
We are expanding our production team and looking for a Small Format Printing & Finishing Operator to join our production team. This role covers two areas of the shop. First, you will run our small-format digital press to produce small format print jobs and package them for shipment. Second, you will handle finishing work for our large format prints, including laminating, mounting, and trimming. You will move between both areas as production demands and work independently across each step of the process.
Overview of roles and responsibilities includes but is not limited to;
Small Format
- Set up and operate the small format digital press for each job according to docket specifications
- Trim, cut, and drill jobs to exact docket spec using equipment such as a guillotine, corner rounders, drill press, laminators, etc
- Assemble multi piece jobs, such as kits or signage sets
- Monitor print quality throughout each run and correct issues such as banding, misregistration, or color drift
- Pack, label, and stage finished product for shipment or pickup
- Report equipment downtime, material shortages, or delays to the Production Manager promptly
Finishing
- Operate the roll laminator to apply laminate film to large format prints
- Inspect laminated output for bubbles, wrinkles, and misalignment, and correct or reject defective pieces
- Mount large format prints to rigid substrates, including foam board, gatorboard, dibond, and
- Complete required quality control checkpoints, including photos, labels, and sign offs
- Maintain accurate logs of run counts and material consumption
- Keep the finishing work area clean and free of debris to prevent material defects
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience operating a small format digital press
- Experience with laminating, mounting, or finishing large format prints is an asset; willing to train on any gaps
- Comfortable working independently and owning a job through multiple production steps
- Working knowledge of print production workflows and basic color theory
- Comfortable using job management software, such as ShopVox, to view dockets and update job status
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to perform consistently in a fast paced environment

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Pay: $21 - $24/hour, based on experience and skill level.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm

What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in small-format printing & finishing is required.
- Experience in large-format finishing is a strong asset (but we’re willing to train fast learners).
- Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow production specifications.
- Physical stamina – ability to stand, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexible schedule – must be available for overtime and occasional weekend shifts as needed.
