The Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham by the Falls is currently seeking a Night Auditor. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for balancing revenue and expense transactions conducted by teh propety on daily basis. You will ensure all guests receive the best possible service and experience by providing excellent customer service and professionalism.
Start: ASAP
Shifts: Nights, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Compensation: $18.00 - 19.30 per hour
- Financial Auditing: Reconcile cash, debit, and credit transactions, balance department ledgers, and compile daily revenue summaries.
- Front Desk Operations: Process late check-ins and early check-outs, issue room keys, and manage reservations.
- Guest Services: Answer phone calls, act as a hotel operator, and provide local recommendations or handle service recoveries.
- Security & Safety: Monitor security cameras, patrol hallways, and respond to emergencies.
- Shift Transitions: Prepare daily reports for management and communicate any outstanding issues to the morning staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous hotel front desk experience or cash-handling background.
- Tech Skills: Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera.
- Availability: Willingness to work overnight shifts (typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays.
- Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.
