Located near Square One in Mississauga, Metalworks Institute is Canada's largest and most comprehensive applied arts music school. Amongst many accolades, we've been recognized twice by our peers in the Canadian music industry as Canadian Music School of the Year. Our biggest point of pride though is the success of our alumni - whether on-stage or behind-the-scenes, our alumni are making their mark on the Canadian and global music industry!
Metalworks Institute is the educational branch of The Metalworks Group, we are a sister company to the world-famous Metalworks Studios (recording studio), Metalworks Production Group (live event production) and SoundsUnite (Music EduTech Start-up).
Metalworks has been a pillar of the Canadian music scene for over 50 years.
Metalworks Institute is looking for an Admissions Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator to help us tell meaningful stories, strengthen engagement with our community, and support prospective students as they move through the admissions journey.
This role is ideal for digital marketer with strong content instincts, an interest in community-building, and a genuine connection to music, media, education, or the creative industries.
The Admissions Lifecycle Marketing Coordinator will work as part of a broader team to conceive, create, curate, and deploy content for prospective students, current students, alumni, and other stakeholders in the music industry. A major focus of the role will be supporting admissions-related communications, including email campaigns, drip marketing, social media content, landing pages, newsletters, and other digital touchpoints designed to help prospective students stay engaged and move toward registration.

From time to time, the Coordinator may also support projects connected to Metalworks Studios, Metalworks Production Group, and SoundsUnite.
Specific credentials or seniority are less important than a demonstrated ability to create thoughtful content, understand audience needs, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to marketing campaigns that achieve specific goals. The successful candidate should be creative, organized, analytical, and comfortable adapting to the natural cadence of the academic year.
This is an on-site role at Metalworks Institute during regular business hours, with occasional evening and/or weekend work required to capture content at events on- or off-site.
