We are looking for a highly organized, energetic individual to fill an immediate opening for Heavy Equipment Road Technician, **full-time in Newfoundland and Labrador**. Experience with crushing and screening equipment is preferred, but consideration will be extended to candidates with previous experience servicing diesel, hydraulic, and/or farm equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment upon initial delivery for defects
- Inspect & Diagnose faults or malfunctions
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand or power tools.
- Test repaired equipment for the proper performance
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
- Accounts for all time and material used in performing assigned duties.
- Maintains condition of mobile service vehicle, inventory, tools, and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
- Additional duties as required.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:
- 2+ years of experience performing service repairs.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
- Ability to use basic computer functions and the MS-Office Suite of products.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
- Valid driver’s license, with clean Driver’s Abstract.
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team with other tradespersons.
- The capability of working outside in all types of weather for on-site customer service and inside a shop.
- A strong work ethic, reliability and dependability are key requirements for this position.
