A career as a Lead Chief Full Stack Developer on the wealth Management, IT Delivery team at National Bank means playing a key role as a technical leader and mentor on passionate teams. With your coaching skills, expertise in developing front-end and back-end solutions and mastery of modern and cloud technologies, you can directly contribute to application performance, it practises and the user experience. Your contribution fosters innovation, software quality and collective growth in an environment where collaboration and continuous development are key priorities.

Your job :

Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentoring.
Maintaining high software quality standards by establishing best practises and habits, and identifying and encouraging areas for growth and improvement within the team.
Help collect and document user requirements, develop user stories, estimates and work plans.
Design, develop and test unit applications in accordance with established standards.
Work with teammates to migrate existing applications to current technologies.
Develop, refine and adjust integrations between applications, and analyse and resolve technical and application problems.
Assess opportunities to improve the application and processes and prepare justifying documents to be sent to team members and other parties concerned.

In wealth Management, IT Delivery, you are part of a large team of 30 colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager. Our team stands out for its strong partnership, unparallelled spirit of mutual support and the implementation of new technologies adopted by the Bank.

Tools such as the Data Academy, language training, the Harvard Learning Centre and coaching and mentoring are available at all times

Prerequisites:

At least 10 years of experience as a developer implementing front-end and back-end solutions
Proficiency in microservices and API architecture with Java (spring boot) and integrations such as JMS/IBM MQ/Kafka.
Proficiency in Java 8+ and user interface frameworks such as React.
Good understanding of DevOps tools (IAC, GIT, JSON, YAML, Jenkins, MAVEN, NEXUS, JUND, GITHUBACTION/HARNESS, HELM, Ansible, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault)
Solid understanding of DevSecOps principles and observability practises with Datadog, Cloud Watch and Splunk.
Knowledge of various technologies such as Postgres, MongoDB, Istio, Redis, SQL and NoSQL
Excellent knowledge of quality testing and security concepts (CMS, SSO, data encryption, etc.).
Experience with AWS cloud technology (service development, deployment, automation and operations)
Knowledge of agile methodology to adopt and adopt software development best practises, such as automated testing, code review and DevOps techniques

Languages:

English, French
