Royal Machine Solutions is looking for a Mechanical Assembler / Fabricator to help build custom conveyor systems and industrial equipment for manufacturers across North America.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical problems, and taking pride in building quality equipment from start to finish.

What You'll Be Doing
Mechanical Assembly & Fabrication
- Assemble conveyor systems and custom industrial equipment
- Perform MIG welding (TIG experience is an asset)
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Fit, align, and assemble mechanical components accurately
- Install bearings, pulleys, guides, drives, motors, and conveyor belting
- Use shop equipment safely and confidently, including:
- Saws
- Drills
- Grinders
- Plasma cutters
- Hand and power tools
- Support fabrication, machining, and production operations as required
Ownership & Execution
- Complete work with minimal supervision
- Stage hardware and materials from drawings and BOMs
- Identify and resolve issues before they become production problems
- Maintain quality standards and production timelines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and production-ready
Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas that improve safety, quality, efficiency, and organization
- Support 5S and workplace organization initiatives
- Help improve production processes and workflow
What We're Looking For
Required
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical assembly, fabrication, or manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Basic MIG welding experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Comfortable using hand tools and fabrication equipment independently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
Preferred Assets
- Conveyor or material handling experience
- TIG welding experience
- Experience with mills, lathes, or CNC equipment
- Knowledge of alignment, squaring, and fit-up techniques
- Lean manufacturing or 5S experience
- Fusion 360 experience
