General Purpose
The Ontario Veterinary College is advancing a college-wide Artificial Intelligence and Automation initiative focused on delivering practical, production-ready solutions that address long-standing operational challenges across clinical care, college services, teaching, and research.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Associate Director, Organization and Technology, the Senior Analyst is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing and delivering AI-enabled solutions that integrate with enterprise systems and data. You will work directly with operational leaders and subject-matter experts to identify high-value use cases and bring solutions into production.
This role operates within a Microsoft 365 and Azure-focused environment, leveraging tools such as Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Azure AI Foundry, and the broader Azure ecosystem, with strong emphasis on systems integration, APIs, and workflow automation.
You will also work in close partnership with a newly established faculty professorship in Veterinary AI, contributing to a collaborative environment that connects applied solution development with emerging research. In parallel, you will engage with central University teams—including Information Security and Emerging Technology & Development—to ensure solutions align with institutional standards while actively contributing to the development and maturation of agentic AI governance and practices across the University.
OVC takes a practical, outcomes-driven approach to AI. The focus is on reliability, governance, and meaningful impact—not experimentation for its own sake or adoption of unproven technologies.
