At BSR Projetos IT, we are obsessed with workflow efficiency. We don't just build software; we build the digital nervous systems that allow global enterprises to plan, track, and execute their grandest visions without a hitch.
About the Role
We are looking for a creative, architecture-minded Project Management Software Developer to join our development team in Quebec City. In this role, you won't be building static web templates—you will be crafting high-performance, real-time collaboration engines, dynamic Gantt chart engines, data-heavy dashboards, and predictive timeline algorithms.
If you look at complex, messy workflows and instantly see how data structures, automated dependencies, and clean UI code can turn chaos into a seamless user experience, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)
- Architect Collaboration Tools: Code and deploy complex frontend systems and scalable backend APIs that power real-time task management, document sharing, and resource allocation.
- Optimize Big Data: Design efficient data pipelines and database queries capable of crunching thousands of cross-project dependencies instantly without breaking a sweat.
- Integrate Ecosystems: Build seamless API integrations with popular third-party tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, ERP systems) to keep our users connected.
- Innovate Features: Prototype next-generation project management tools, including automated task estimation models and visual timeline mapping.
What You Bring (Requirements)
- The Experience: 3+ years of professional full-stack or backend software engineering experience.
- The Stack: Strong proficiency in modern web development frameworks. We rely heavily on ecosystems like JavaScript/TypeScript (React, Node.js), Python, or C#/.NET, alongside robust SQL/NoSQL database architecture.
- Algorithm Savvy: A deep understanding of graph data structures and relational data—essential for mapping out task dependencies and project critical paths.
- Bilingual Spirit: Strong working proficiency in French is required to collaborate seamlessly within our Quebec City hub, with professional English skills considered a major asset for global project contexts.
- Local Presence: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and located in (or willing to relocate to) the Capitale-Nationale region for our hybrid schedule.
What We Offer (The Perks)
- Competitive Compensation: An attractive salary matching Quebec City’s premier tech standards.
- Total Health Coverage: Full extended health, dental, and vision insurance packages starting from day one.
- Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy the focus of working from home alongside collaborative whiteboard and brainstorming sessions at our local office.
- Continuous Mastery: A annual personal learning stipend for tech courses, books, and certifications to expand your programming horizons.
- An Elite Culture: Work alongside passionate, low-ego developers who prioritize clean code, continuous deployment, and actual work-life balance.
