Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a certified CPA and have extensive experience in accounting, financial analysis, and risk management. This role offers an opportunity to lead internal audits, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial data, supporting audit processes, and implementing best practices in accounting procedures.

Duties

Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Collaborate with our central accounting offices in the US and Europe.
Lead internal audits to assess internal controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
Manage risk management processes related to financial operations and reporting.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely completion.
Utilize accounting software to record transactions, reconcile accounts, and generate financial data for management review.
Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
Monitor regulatory changes affecting financial services and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.

Skills

Thorough knowledge of tax principals
Proven expertise in accounting principles and practices within the financial services sector.
Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Experience in risk management strategies related to finance operations.
Proficiency with accounting software such as Sage.
Extensive knowledge of internal audits and compliance requirements.
Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating across teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. This position is integral to maintaining the organization’s financial integrity and supporting its strategic growth initiatives through expert accounting practices and risk assessment expertise.

Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
