We are currently seeking an experienced, driven, and highly organized National Appraisal Manager to join our leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced collision repair estimator, insurance appraiser, or automotive professional who enjoys working with customers, building relationships, and delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
As an Automotive Appraiser / Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates, educating customers on the paintless dent repair process, and supporting operational excellence throughout the repair journey.
You will work closely with customers, insurance partners, technicians, and staff to ensure every repair is handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional service standards.
This position requires flexibility and commitment, including availability during peak production months (July–December) when longer hours will be required including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate estimates in accordance with insurance partner guidelines using Qapter and Mitchell Connect
- Identify prior damage and repair-related concerns
- Educate customers on the paintless dent repair (PDR) process and answer questions throughout the repair journey
- Convert appraisals into booked repairs and help maintain strong closing ratios
- Create estimates from both in-person inspections and photographs
- Process supplements for PDR Hail Team and our body shop partners
- Communicate effectively with customers, insurance partners, technicians, and internal staff
- Review completed repairs to ensure all work meets estimate requirements and company quality standards
- Maintain strict adherence to company procedures and documentation standards
- Support day-to-day operations within our Calgary headquarters and other locations as required
- Address customer concerns and comeback issues professionally
- Coordinate technicians, support staff and sublet vendors
- Travel throughout Alberta and Canada when necessary
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess most of the following:
- Previous estimating experience within a collision repair facility, appraisal company, or insurance environment
- Prior experience in automotive sales, customer service, and operations
- Working knowledge of Mitchell and/or Qapter estimating platforms
- Strong understanding of conventional repair processes and vehicle damage assessment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel when required
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
