The Director Consulting Expert (DCE) – Hexagon EAM is a senior domain and solution leader specializing in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) with deep expertise in Hexagon EAM (formerly Infor EAM) platform and asset intensive industries.
This role serves as a trusted advisor across the full lifecycle of asset management transformation, acting as a force multiplier for Sales, Delivery, and Industry teams. The DCE brings domain leadership, solution expertise, and execution assurance across complex engagements involving asset lifecycle management, maintenance optimization, reliability engineering, and digital asset transformation.
The role is client facing and billable, focused on:
- Supporting high value sales pursuits as a Hexagon EAM subject matter expert
- Ensuring solution integrity and delivery excellence
- Driving best practices in EAM strategy, implementation, and optimization
- Scaling repeatable assets, accelerators, and industry solutions
Your future duties and responsibilities
1. Pre Sales & Sales Enablement
Act as a Hexagon EAM solution authority in strategic pursuits, including:
- Opportunity qualification and deal shaping
- Solution architecture and transformation strategy
- Proposal and SOW development
- Executive presentations and client workshops
- Translate business challenges into EAM enabled transformation solutions, including:
- Asset lifecycle management
- Maintenance strategy (preventive, predictive, reliability centered)
- Work management and field service optimization
- Asset performance management (APM)
- Regulatory and compliance driven asset operations
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to:
- Define value driven business cases (ROI, cost optimization, uptime improvement)
- Develop EAM transformation roadmaps
- Differentiate through Hexagon EAM capabilities and integrations
- Lead or support RFP responses, solution defense, and shortlisting activities
2. Delivery Advisory & Execution Support
Serve as a delivery advisor and governance authority on Hexagon EAM implementations and transformations
- Ensure alignment between:
- Sold solution vs. implemented solution
- Client expectations vs. realized value
- Provide expert guidance on:
- Solution architecture (Hexagon EAM modules and integrations)
- Data migration and asset data governance
- Implementation methodologies (Agile/Hybrid for EAM)
- Risk identification and mitigation strategies
Support:
- Complex program escalations
- Quality assurance reviews
- Benefits realization tracking
3. Domain Expertise & Thought Leadership
- Maintain deep expertise across:
- Hexagon EAM platform (core modules, mobile, analytics, integration frameworks)
- Asset intensive industries such as Utilities, Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing,
Transportation, and Public Sector
- Industry standards (ISO 55000, reliability engineering practices)
Act as a recognized EAM and asset management thought leader:
- Lead client workshops and executive briefings
- Publish white papers, POVs, and frameworks
- Represent the organization in industry events and forums
Stay current with:
- Asset performance management trends
- IoT enabled maintenance
- Predictive analytics and AI in asset management
4. Solution & Capability Development
Build and evolve Hexagon EAM consulting offerings, including:
- Implementation accelerators
- Industry specific solutions
- Migration and upgrade frameworks
Develop reusable assets such as:
- Reference architectures
- Process models (asset lifecycle, maintenance workflows)
- Deployment templates and playbooks
Collaborate with:
- Industry leaders
- Sales and alliances (Hexagon partnership ecosystem)
- Delivery excellence teams
5. Knowledge Sharing & Mentorship
Mentor delivery teams, consultants, and solution leads on:
- Hexagon EAM best practices
- Asset management maturity models
- Complex problem solving
Build a community of practice for EAM and asset management
Drive:
- Knowledge sharing
- Standardization of delivery approaches
- Continuous innovation
- Success Measures
- Improved win rates in Hexagon EAM pursuits
- Strong alignment between solution design and delivery outcomes
Measurable client outcomes:
- Increased asset uptime

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
12+ years in:
- Enterprise Asset Management consulting
- Asset intensive industry operations
- Technology enabled transformation
- Deep hands on experience with Hexagon EAM (Infor EAM):
- Implementation lifecycle (design, configure, deploy)
- Functional and technical architecture
- Integration with ERP, IoT, GIS, and analytics platforms
Proven experience:
- Supporting large, complex pre sales engagements
- Leading EAM transformations or enterprise asset programs
- Advising delivery teams on critical programs
Strong understanding of:
- Asset lifecycle management
- Maintenance strategies and reliability engineering
- Data and analytics in asset management
Ability to engage credibly at:
- CXO / VP Operations / Asset Management leaders

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $120,000–$170,000 This role is an existing vacancy.
