About Us
Key Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, is the world’s largest high-grade uranium mill. The uranium milled at Key Lake is used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future.
Position and Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of mobile equipment to maintain the site, roads and airport in a safe and effective manner.
- Haul slurry from McArthur River site to Key Lake site.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- minimum grade 12 or equivalent;
- minimum of three to five years of relevant work experience;
- experience on dozer, backhoes, graders, vac trucks and large loaders;
- valid 1A license with a minimum of 150,000 B-train experience;
- willingness to perform manual labour as required; and
- work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
Assets:
- mobile crane operating experience.
Conditions of employment:
- pre-employment substance test; and
- license verification.
