Woody's RV World Red Deer is currently seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting team in the areas of Accounts Receivable, Inventory, and Sales.
Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient administration of Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, and Sales Accounting functions while supporting operational departments with their day-to-day accounting needs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience, with exposure to accounts receivable and inventory accounting
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience using Integrated Dealer Systems (IDS) is considered an asset
- Dealership, automotive, RV, or retail environment experience is an asset
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field is considered an asset

What You Will Do:
Accounts Receivable:
- Prepare and analyze monthly AR reports, identifying aging and other concerns for management review
- Create AR invoices accurately and on time
- Assist with resolving invoicing discrepancies and provide support for day-to-day and ad hoc AR activities
Inventory Accounting:
- Review inventory purchase invoices for accuracy, including costs, coding, descriptions, and locations
- Record additional inventory costs, including freight, foreign exchange, and allowances to ensure accurate unit costing
- Reconcile manufacturer and freight invoices to support accurate payment processing
- Maintain accurate tracking of used and consignment inventory and support inventory-related initiatives
- Respond to inventory-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
Sales Accounting:
- Collect and verify all documentation required to process and post RV unit sales
- Finalize and post sales transactions, ensuring all sales are balanced and completed within established deadlines
- Prepare monthly dealership sales reports and communicate any discrepancies or issues requiring attention
- Prepare and reconcile monthly recording and payment of third-party insurance and warranty packages
General Accounting:
- Assist with month-end procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis
- Maintain organized accounting, sales, and inventory documentation
- Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and process improvements
- Identify accounting discrepancies and prepare correcting journal entries as required

- Compensation range of $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Regular hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, 40 hours per week
