Are you an experienced Personal Support Worker who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and mentoring others to succeed?
Home Instead is seeking a dedicated Lead CAREGiver to join our team in a unique leadership role that combines hands-on client care with coaching, support, and quality assurance responsibilities within our growing community.

About the Role
As a Lead CAREGiver, you will be one of our key field leaders, providing direct care to clients during evenings and weekends while also supporting our CAREGiver team throughout the community.
When not providing client care, you will assist with:
- Coaching and mentoring CAREGivers in the field
- Conducting quality assurance visits and client check-ins
- Supporting new CAREGiver onboarding and shadow shifts
- Delivering PPE and care supplies to clients and CAREGivers
- Helping troubleshoot care concerns and providing guidance
- Acting as an ambassador of Home Instead's standards and values
- Supporting client and CAREGiver satisfaction initiatives

What You'll Do
Client Care Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support mobility and transfers
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes
Leadership Responsibilities
- Mentor and coach CAREGivers in the community
- Support ongoing training and best practices
- Perform client and CAREGiver support visits
- Assist with PPE and supply distribution
- Communicate observations and concerns to the office team
- Promote excellence in care delivery and client satisfaction
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- PSW Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, or International Nursing Degree
- Minimum 2 years of caregiving, PSW, or nursing experience
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A genuine passion for supporting seniors and fellow CAREGivers
- Valid G or G2 Driver's Licence
- Reliable vehicle with the ability to travel throughout our service area
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C Certification
- Ability to provide proof of required immunizations and TB testing
- Ability to obtain a clear Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check
