Job Title: Sales & facility associate (In-Office)
Schedule: part time role. 10 - 20 hours per week
Compensation & Perks
- $19/hour base
- 10% commission on all units & merchandise
- Maintenance Performance Bonus: $100-$300+
- Sales Contest: $100–$2,000+ per pay

About the Role:
We’re looking for a General Laborer and Facility Associate to join our in-office team at My Storage. This is a versatile, hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced environment. An individual comfortable wearing different hats, such as interacting with customers, organizing the office, cleaning up around the facility and taking pride and ownership in a facility they oversee and run daily.
You’ll be supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy self-storage facility, helping maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for our customers. This role combines facility upkeep, general labor, customer service, maintenance support, and administrative assistance.

What You'll Do
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the facility, both inside and out
- Pick up litter and debris throughout the property
- Wipe down doors, hallways, customer touchpoints, gates, and common areas
- Assist with light cleaning, housekeeping, and facility upkeep
- Conduct regular property inspections and site checks
- Perform general labor tasks as required to maintain the facility
- Assist with basic facility maintenance, including door repairs, lock replacements, painting touch-ups, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, and safety issues
- Assist with unit checks, lock checks, and property walks
- Help prepare vacant units for new customers
- Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed
- Assist customers with payments, move-ins, and general inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
- Support marketing initiatives and special projects as required
What We're Looking For
- Experience in general labour, maintenance, facilities, customer service, or a related field
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
- Organized, reliable, and proactive
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- General maintenance experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience with basic tools, repairs, door maintenance, painting, cleaning, or facility upkeep is welcomed
- Strong communication skills and customer service abilities
