We are looking for an Automotive Windshield Installer who is also open to learning or who has experience as a Oil & Lube and Tire tech to join our Nisstech team! We are a family orientated business that fosters a great working environment. We specialize in servicing all Japanese makes and models and we also service domestic vehicles. You will be responsible for the service and repair of customer vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Remove and Replace Windshield Glass (Experience is a requirement)
Fleet Vehicle Experience
We are willing to teach you how to perform oil changes, and tire replacements, if you have experience, even better
- Oil Changes: Drain and replace engine oil and oil filters.
- Fluid Checks and Topping Off: Inspect and top off various fluids, such as coolant, brake fluid, and power steering fluid.
- Tire Rotations: Rotate tires to ensure even wear and improve vehicle handling.
- Basic Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of various vehicle components, such as belts, hoses, and fluids.
- Minor Repairs: Perform basic repairs, such as replacing light bulbs or addressing minor fluid leaks.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area: Ensure the work area is clean and organized, and that tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations when working on vehicles.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Basic Mechanical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Ability to Follow Instructions: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify and address potential problems with vehicles.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and move heavy objects.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience
-Ability to install and balance all sizes of tires, inspect brakes, program tire pressure sensors, reset service intervals, ability to replace filters, top up fluids, ability to use a scan tool is a bonus
- must be able to do flex hours
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Own your own set of tools to be able to perform most repairs (scan tools are provided)
- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license since we test drive all of our customers vehicles
-Proficient at reading and writing English, strong communication skills
-Exhibits a positive attitude and contributes to a fast-paced workplace as part of a team
Hours of Work & Compensation:
Monday to Friday, may have weekends as well
