Job Summary
We are actively hiring experienced Surface Diamond Drilling Supervisors for immediate and upcoming exploration projects throughout British Columbia.
We are seeking safety-focused, experienced leaders who are mechanically inclined, physically capable, and able to manage drilling crews in demanding remote environments. This is an opportunity for long-term, ongoing work with a growing drilling team.
Our crews regularly work extended schedules with substantial overtime opportunities and production bonus incentives.
Responsibilities
· Safely operate and supervise surface diamond drilling operations in remote camp environments
· Handle rods, drilling tools, core samples, and drilling fluids
· Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain drilling equipment, pumps, water systems, wirelines, and related tools
· Perform pre-start inspections, basic maintenance, drill setup, anchoring, drill moves, and pad/site preparation
· Lead and support drilling crews while maintaining safe work practices and operational efficiency
· Complete operational reporting, paperwork, measurements, supply counts, inventory, and parts ordering
· Operate support equipment and vehicles as required
· Maintain Fit for Duty standards, housekeeping, workplace safety, and risk management procedures to prevent injuries and equipment damage
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of surface diamond drilling experience
- Previous supervisory or foreman experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to work extended rotations in remote camp settings
- Physically fit and capable of demanding field work
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing if required
Certifications & Requirements
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (or equivalent)
- Standard First Aid CPR-C
- WHMIS Certification
- BC Transportation Endorsement considered an asset
Schedule
- Rotational camp-based work schedules
- Typical rotations average 84+ hours per week
- Day and night shifts may be required
