By applying your expertise within our facility in Scarborough, as the Material Handler:
-
Keep moving material throughout the plant in an organized and safe manner.
- Operate a forklift for loading and unloading of trailers, transporting units from conveyor, dock, or storage, take receivables to appropriate departments/area, etc.

Perform a daily safety inspection of the lift truck, record results and report any deficiencies.

Change/charge lift truck batteries.
- Accurately enter and scan all materials on the SAP system.
- Assist shipping when needed.
- Keep work area clean assisting in all 5S responsibilities including controlling and organizing the shipping area

Quality and Food Safety:

Follow Lithotech plant Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliance, BRC, Plant HACCP program, and Allergen Management program.

Maintain a clean and hazardous free work area while supporting and promoting company GMP’s, Safety, and quality policies.

Report all quality and food safety related issues immediately to the Supervisor or Safe Quality Food Practitioner (SQFP) for corrections and/or corrective actions.
Other duties as assigned.
