Position Overview
We are looking for proactive and organized Sales Representative Assistants to support our sales team during an exciting period of growth. We have openings for both full-time and part-time team members. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing client relationships, coordinating custom packaging projects, and serving as a key link between our business office and the manufacturing floor.
This position offers a reliable hourly base rate with great earning potential through a commission structure tied directly to your sales success. Key Responsibilities
- Internal Operations Coordination: Actively communicate with the production and logistics teams to gather accurate, real-time information regarding production schedules and shipping updates to keep our customers informed.
- Market Assistance & Lead Tracking: Track industry and regional market trends to identify new business opportunities. Actively research, update, and maintain detailed profiles on existing and potential customers to directly support and drive sales growth.
- Sales Support: Assist in processing customer inquiries for liquid bottles, food containers, and custom packaging projects.
- Client Coordination: Maintain clear, proactive communication with our partners, ensuring that project timelines and design requirements are met.
- Data Management: Keep our project and client records updated, ensuring seamless workflows as we transition to our new Saskatoon facility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school graduation is required as a minimum. Post-secondary education or training related to Business, Marketing, or a related field is considered a strong bonus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a sales or customer service role is highly valued and will be heavily considered.
- Communication: Professional and friendly communication skills—comfortable collaborating internally with our plant floor teams and externally with business partners.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to track multiple orders, shipping timelines, and manufacturing updates simultaneously.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with standard office software and a willingness to learn our production management systems.
- Adaptability: A team-oriented mindset; you are comfortable working in a dynamic environment as we ramp up production at our new facility.
