Who are we looking for?
At ArcelorMittal Tubular Products, we are looking for someone to join us at the forefront of the steels industry. We are a world-class designer, manufacturer, and fabricator of high-quality steel tubing and tubular components/assemblies for automotive and non-automotive applications. As an Industrial Electrician, you'll be a part of our maintenance team - an integral part of our organization - and you'll be contributing to the overall function and success of our production operations.

Key Accountabilities
- Follow all applicable health & safety regulations outlined by OHSA & company policies.
- Responsible for all electrical repairs to production and related equipment.
- To carry out all electric and pneumatic troubleshooting, repairs or installations for which a Journeyperson Electrician has been trained through the apprenticeship program or specialized training
- Responsible for the execution and the recording of all assigned tasks within Ivara Work Management System for the Electrical discipline.
- Ensure that TS16949 and ISO14001 procedures for the maintenance team are followed.
- Document all electrical safety authority requirements as defined by Ontario and local code.
- Responsible for corrective action reporting within the CMMS.
- Provide guidance when asked to area planners for the creation of planned activities and for the scheduling of said tasks
- Provide subject matter expert advice and support to the production supervisors
Position Requirements
- Grade 12 or GED
- Successful completion of electrical apprenticeship
- Must have a Certificate of Qualification
- Working knowledge of Mastercam or related computerized machining software
- Must have 2-3 years of related experience within a high production automotive environment
- Working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of the latest edition of ISO/IATF procedures
Hours of Work
- A typical work week is 40 hours; overtime as required
- Two-week shift rotation; days - 8:00am to 4:00pm; afternoons - 4:00pm to 12:00am; midnights - 12:00am to 8:00am
