Overview of the role:
Saputo is seeking an Analyst, Finance for an existing opportunity within our organization. The Analyst, Finance will be responsible for the preparation and processing of accounting information and will act as a support to the accounting team, including responsibilities related to the inventory accounting cycle, journal entries, interdivisional recharging, payroll-related accounting entries, and assisting in the preparation of monthly reports.
This role offers the possibility to work remotely one day per week.
How you will make contributions that matter:
Manage the inventory and accounts payable cycle, including analysis, journal entries, and transaction processing
Account for intercompany transactions, prepare intercompany billings, and ensure proper follow-up
Record payroll-related journal entries, including pre-processing data analysis
Prepare monthly and quarterly G/L analyses (balance sheet and income statement)
Develop monthly management reports and presentations (PowerPoint)
Ensure accuracy and timeliness of accounting activities
Act as a key point of contact for various departments (Engineering, Marketing, IT, AP, Corporate, International) on accounting matters
Support the preparation of the annual budget and input data into the financial system
Perform other related duties as required
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with a CPA designation (or in progress) or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of AS/400 (an asset) and SAP (preferred)
High level of accuracy, organization, analytical skills, and autonomy
Strong attention to detail
Bilingualism (French and English, both spoken and written)
Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
As part of their duties, the position holder will be required to communicate and collaborate in English and French, both orally and in writing, with colleagues or other stakeholders located in Québec, elsewhere in Canada, or across North America.
Salary: $68 630 - $90 080
*Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
