Static Security Guard – Hamilton, ON

About DiFranco Security Services

Since 2011, DiFranco Security Services has been providing professional security solutions across Ontario. We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Static Security Guards to join our growing team in Hamilton. If you take pride in maintaining safe environments, providing exceptional customer service, and acting with professionalism at all times, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols of assigned properties
Monitor and control site access, including visitor verification
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and security concerns
Complete detailed reports, daily occurrence logs, and incident documentation
Enforce site policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and secure environment
Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, visitors, and clients
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions

Qualifications

Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence
Current First Aid & CPR Certification
Minimum 3 years of security experience
Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Availability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in shelters, supportive housing, or social service environments
Use of Force Certification
Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable transportation

Position Details

Location: Hamilton, Ontario
Employment Type: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available
Schedule: Various shifts available, including weekends and holidays must be available to work combination of days and overnights.
