- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in program or project management.
- 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience reimagining and modernizing workforce planning, capacity modeling, or resource management models to support high-growth, highly technical services organizations.
- Experience building and utilizing dashboards, leveraging CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and using advanced data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
- Experience designing and implementing operational frameworks to bring consistency to complex consulting or development deployments.
- Familiarity with public cloud technologies, machine learning/generative AI trends, and the operational nuances of deploying specialized development squads within enterprise environments.

In the Head of Global Workforce Planning and Transformation role, you will lead the strategic evolution of how Google Cloud Consulting (GCC) forecasts, prepares, and deploys its global talent. Moving beyond traditional capacity management, you will be the chief architect of our forward-looking workforce readiness and execution capability strategy. You will design and execute a proactive global model that anticipates future customer demand, maps technical skill readiness, and structures agile teams to successfully execute our most strategic, first-of-a-kind customer deals.
Serving as a key strategist and partner to Global Leadership, Practice Directors, and Strategy and Operations, you will bridge the gap between long-term business growth and proactive enablement. Canada: $180000 - $184000 (CAD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Lead, mentor, and scale a global team of Capacity Managers focused on the day-to-day staffing of Google talent across strategic customer engagements and forward deployed development squads.
- Reimagine and lead the global workforce planning strategy for GCC. Shift the organization from reactive resource management to proactive talent deployment.
- Partner with the leadership teams to monitor market trends. Design predictive models to anticipate demand and map the technical skills Googlers must meet to match upcoming market needs.
- Partner with the leadership to balance utilization targets with a focus on consultant career development and sustainable workloads.
- Drive the development of next-generation metrics and predictive dashboards to analyze skill density, future talent gaps, onboarding velocity, and deployment efficiency.
