Overview

We are seeking an energetic and strategic General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across multiple channels. In this dynamic role, you will oversee all aspects of sales operations, develop innovative strategies to expand our customer base, and foster a high-performance sales environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in building strong relationships with clients, managing a robust sales pipeline, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with extensive experience in B2B and retail sales, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse markets.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through effective coaching and support.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with company goals and market trends.
Manage the entire sales pipeline, from prospecting new clients to closing high-end deals.
Cultivate strong relationships with dealership partners, corporate clients, and retail customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
Conduct outside sales efforts by visiting potential clients, attending industry events, and expanding market reach.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Oversee sales support functions such as lead generation, marketing collaboration, and customer service initiatives.
Utilize organizational skills to maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress.
Identify upselling opportunities within existing accounts to increase revenue streams.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop campaigns that attract new customers and retain current ones.

Experience

Proven success in high-end B2B and retail sales environments, preferably within the automotive or dealership sectors.
Extensive experience in sales management, including leading teams, setting targets, and tracking performance metrics.
Strong background in outside sales techniques, negotiation tactics, and deal closing strategies.
Demonstrated ability to build a healthy sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
Excellent communication skills—phone etiquette, presentation abilities, and active listening—to effectively engage clients at all levels.
Solid understanding of marketing principles as they relate to driving sales growth and brand awareness.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple accounts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
