Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Demolition Equipment Operator and take charge of safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to execute demolition projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging construction sites, utilizing a variety of equipment to dismantle structures with precision and care. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring project success while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties

Operate demolition excavators with various attachments such as shears, pulverizers, breakers, and grapples with skill and precision.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of all machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance.
Safely demolish structures according to project specifications, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and effectively.
Assist with site preparation activities including grading, backfill, and remediation.
Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of demolition tasks.
Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities.
Travel to remote sites in Various locations in Western Canada for project work.

Experience

Proven demolition experience operating excavators with demolition attachments on commercial or industrial sites.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience in demolition projects with a focus on safety compliance and precision work.
Valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
5-10 years of heavy equipment operation in diverse environments.
Knowledge of construction site safety standards and protocols related to demolition activities.
