Overview

Coxwell Dental Health Centre is seeking an experienced and personable Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice. In this role, you will keep our front desk running smoothly, deliver outstanding patient care, and support our clinical team so our office runs seamlessly on a day to day basis. This opportunity is a great fit for someone who thrives in a busy, team-oriented environment and takes pride in creating a positive experience for patients.

** Please note that the ideal candidate should be available to work Tuesday to Saturday**

**PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO DENTAL ADMINISTRATIVE EXPERIENCE AND ARE NOT LOOKING FOR A LONG TERM POSITION**

Key Requirements of the Ideal Candidate

Minimum 2 years of experience as a dental receptionist in Canada
1-2 years of experience with dental software particularly Tracker
Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Work well in a team environment and collaborates effectively with clinical and administrative staff
Solid understanding of how dental offices operate, including familiarity with dental terminology
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
Attention to detail and able to perform tasks with little to no errors
Have some technical knowledge and be able to troubleshoot simple issues that arise with computers and printers

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in and check-out processes
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently
Answer patient inquiries and provide information about our services
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Tracker
Process patient payments and submit insurance claims in line with office policies
Operate a multi-line phone system, handling calls promptly and professionally
Support day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and managing office supplies
Work closely with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient care and communication
Ensure reception hardware is working properly
