If you are passionate about a career in hospitality and want to be part of a team that shares this commitment, The Barrington is presently seeking a F&B Server to join TEMPO Food+Drink. Our award winning TEMPO Food+Drink restaurant offers hearty, authentic Canadian comfort food, handcrafted cocktails and Instagram worthy specials in a lively and vibrant setting.
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager the F&B Server, will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction while maintaining hotel standards.
What you will be doing as a F&B Server:
- Welcoming each guest warmly and with enthusiasm, always creating an exceptional first impression;
- Providing guest with food & beverage suggestions, while taking in consideration preferences, allergies, and dietary restrictions;
- Actively participate in all aspects of servicing the hotel’s food/beverage outlets – tempo, and “grab and go” service;
- Provide excellent customer service to tempo restaurant guests;
- Maintain overall cleanliness of restaurant areas;
- Ensuring guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining hotel standards;
- Follow safe work practices as designated by the employer;
- Such other similar or related duties may be required from time to time.
The person we are looking for has:
- NS serve right certification is required;
- Exceptional customer service;
- A strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work different shifts including weekends;
- Motivated, detail orientated and organized individual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a face paced environment;
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment is an asset.
