4 Mile Liquor Store is a family-owned local retailer based in Victoria, proudly serving the community for over 30 years. As part of the 4 Mile Brewpub family, we are dedicated to providing exceptional products and customer service while employing a team of 100 passionate individuals across our two liquor stores, brewery, and brewpub.
Summary
We are looking for a team member who can do PT to FT hours to join our busy liquor store at Admirals Walk. The ideal candidate will have evening and weekend availability and be flexible with their schedule. This role will primarily focus on evening shifts and weekend shifts so applicants must have that availability and can comfortably work them. Occasional daytime or other shifts may be required.
In this role, you will assist customers with purchases, operate the till, Lotto, vape, stock shelves and cooler, receive shipments, and help maintain a clean, organized store. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to lift and move inventory safely.

Requirements:
- At least one year of retail experience
- Valid Serving It Right certificate
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
- Cash handling experience and basic math skills for transactions and inventory tasks
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable assisting with unloading shipments and operating equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and carts
- Ability to safely use ladders as needed
- Awareness of loss prevention practices (an asset)
- Product knowledge of liquor and vaping products (an asset)
- Willingness to learn and grow within the role
