About Us
Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to power a secure energy future. Utilities around the world rely on our nuclear fuel products to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. Cameco’s corporate office is based in Saskatoon. The Role
This role supports the translation of Cameco’s strategy into actionable plans. The senior analyst, strategic implementation works with departments, operations and stakeholders across the business to collect and analyze data, define processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support strategic initiatives that enhance performance, efficiency, and capability.
In this role, you will:
- Improve organizational and operational effectiveness by connecting strategy to execution to strengthen the business to support strategic priorities.
- Analyze current business practices to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Assist in identification of techniques and develop materials and tools to support strategic planning and execution.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying, evaluating, and implementing methods, practices and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate processes and recommend improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, delivering project updates, and presenting progress reports to senior stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Build strong partnership and alignment across teams by presenting actionable insights and recommendations across all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate and advance project plans and initiatives to monitor progress, provide advisory and ensure continuous improvement delivers the intended outcomes.
Required:
- a four-year bachelor’s degree in business, Industrial engineering, or a related field (technology, policy, risk management, operations, human resources);
- minimum five to eight years of relevant professional experience;
- equivalent combination of education and work experience considered;
- experience facilitating workshops or leading group working sessions;
- experience analyzing data and translating insights into actionable recommendations; and
- experience supporting or leading projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Recommended:
- strong analytical skills with close attention to detail;
- experience in operational excellence, business improvement, business process analysis preferred;
- experience using analytics, reporting or data visualization tools; and
- demonstrates intermediate interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and explain complex, or specialized information.

Salary Range: $103,770-$129,630
