Summary

Title: Warehouse Forklift Operator

Location: 1120 Bd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC J4G 2H9

Contract Duration: 3 Months Contract with possible chances of Extension or permanency

Pay Rate - CAD $24.25

Job Description:

A Warehouse Associate will be responsible to ensure operations run smoothly and seamlessly.

Capacity with ERP since candidate will need to do receiving transactions and inventory movements with an electronic scanner

Must Have:

Forklift Certification

French and English bilingual

Responsibilities:

Assemble and set up new bikes and scooters or other equipment

Charge scooters or other equipment as needed

Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse which include but are not limited to reorganizing the bikes or scooters, assisting with loading and unloading vans, cleaning of warehouse and rideables, assistance with inventory, etc.

Safely ride and test bike/scooter for inspection purposes and only as needed to complete the required task

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Ability to listen and follow directions, strong attention to detail and accuracy

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stoop, bend, and stand for long periods of time

Ability to be flexible to work nights and weekends as needed

Experience with basic computer skills (e.g. Excel) and proficient experience with phone applications

Strict adherence to safety standards

Must have the following prior to starting:

o Appropriate footwear (ASTM F2413-05, ASTM F2413-11, and ASTM F2413-18)

Preferred Experience & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver’s License

Previous warehouse experience

Description du poste

L'associé(e) d'entrepôt est responsable d'assurer le bon déroulement des opérations de l'entrepôt.

Le candidat doit être à l'aise avec un système ERP, car il devra effectuer les transactions de réception et les mouvements d'inventaire à l'aide d'un lecteur électronique (scanner).

Exigences essentielles

· Certification de chariot élévateur (Forklift)

· Bilinguisme : français et anglais

Responsabilités

· Assembler et préparer de nouveaux vélos, trottinettes ou autres équipements.

· Recharger les trottinettes ou autres équipements au besoin.

· Effectuer les tâches générales d'entretien de l'entrepôt, notamment :

o Réorganiser les vélos et les trottinettes.

o Participer au chargement et au déchargement des fourgonnettes.

o Nettoyer l'entrepôt et les équipements.

o Aider à la gestion de l'inventaire.

o Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe.

· Conduire et tester les vélos ou trottinettes de façon sécuritaire à des fins d'inspection, uniquement lorsque nécessaire pour accomplir les tâches requises.

Compétences et qualifications requises

· Capacité à écouter et à suivre les directives avec rigueur.

· Excellente attention aux détails et souci de l'exactitude.

· Bonnes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite.

· Excellentes compétences organisationnelles.

· Capacité à soulever des charges pouvant aller jusqu'à 50 lb (22,7 kg).

· Capacité à se pencher, s'accroupir et demeurer debout pendant de longues périodes.

· Disponibilité pour travailler de soir et les fins de semaine au besoin.

· Maîtrise des compétences informatiques de base (p. ex. Excel) et aisance avec les applications mobiles.

· Respect rigoureux des normes de santé et sécurité.

· Avant l'entrée en fonction, le candidat doit posséder des chaussures de sécurité conformes aux normes ASTM F2413-05, ASTM F2413-11 ou ASTM F2413-18.

Expérience et compétences souhaitées

· Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) ou équivalent (GED).

· Permis de conduire valide.

· Expérience préalable en entrepôt.

Pay: $24.25 per hour
