Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences across a modern Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) ecosystem. This position combines technical quality engineering, automation development, and cross-functional collaboration with the IS team to ensure software releases meet the highest standards for performance, accessibility, security, and customer experience. The successful candidate will establish testing strategies, expand automation capabilities, and promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving delivery processes, and influencing engineering best practices across enterprise digital platforms. This position offers a competitive pay rate with the opportunity to work with enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end quality strategies, including test planning, risk assessment, estimation, and release validation for enterprise digital applications.
- Build, enhance, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks while integrating automated quality checks into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
- Validate Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations, including Sites, Digital Asset Management (DAM), publishing workflows, content delivery, caching mechanisms, and third-party integrations.
- Perform comprehensive functional, integration, regression, API, system, accessibility, performance, and user acceptance testing to ensure software reliability across browsers, devices, and environments.
- Collaborate with software developers, architects, product managers, business analysts, and designers to identify quality risks early, resolve defects efficiently, and improve overall delivery outcomes.
- Monitor quality metrics, automation coverage, defect trends, and release readiness while producing clear reports and recommendations that support informed business decisions.
- Ensure applications meet security, accessibility, compliance, and data protection standards while promoting continuous improvement through automation, mentoring, and quality engineering best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality engineering with strong expertise in automated testing for enterprise web, API, cloud, or mobile applications.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience testing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or comparable enterprise content management platforms.
- Strong knowledge of modern testing technologies (AEM testing) and CI/CD platforms.
- Proven ability to design and implement robust automation frameworks using Java, with additional experience in TypeScript and/or Python.
- Experience working with SQL databases, source control platforms (Git/GitHub/Bitbucket), Agile delivery methodologies, and enterprise test management solutions.
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), application security principles, and API validation.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder/client management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
