ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a versatile, proactive Executive/Administrative Assistant to support business operations, client communications, and marketing execution. In this role, you will serve as the primary client point of contact, handle high-level administrative tasks in a flexible, hybrid/virtual work environment in the Pacific time zone.
- Administrative & Executive Support: Manage calendars, schedule virtual/in-person meetings, coordinate travel arrangements, track project management tools, and assist leadership with daily administrative tasks.
- Client Experience & Event Support: Oversee client intake, manage communications, handle program enrollment/onboarding and provide logistics support for in-person and online events.
- Marketing & Social Media: Schedule content, monitor engagement across social channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), and maintain client databases.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 3+ years in an Administrative, Executive Assistant or Operations Manager role.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Communication: Exceptional written, editing, and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Tools & Platforms: Familiarity with tools like Calendly, Mailchimp, Canva, project management software, and business social media management (LinkedIn, Instagram/Facebook).
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Communications, Business, Office Administration, Journalism, preferred.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience to be invited into the selection process.
A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions. Shortlisted applicants will be asked to complete a work-based assignment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/RATE OF PAY
- Hybrid work setting.
- Contractor/self-employed position. Long-term engagement.
- $25 - $30/hour @ 20 - 30 hours/week.
- Head office is located in Kamloops, BC.
- 8:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday PST (Pacific Standard Time). Occasional evening and weekends may be required for events.
