Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Night Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English (verbal and written), have a strong background in dispatching, and be ready to work flexible 10-hour night shifts. This role is crucial to ensuring smooth and timely operations across our transportation network.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and schedule driver assignments to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and management via phone, email, and messaging systems.
Monitor and track shipments in real-time, adjusting schedules and routes as necessary.
Handle dispatch documentation and maintain accurate records.
Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize delays and service disruptions.
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
Assist with other operational tasks as needed to support the team.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a dispatcher in the transportation or logistics industry.
Fluent in English (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently during night shifts.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Proficiency with dispatching software and Microsoft Office.
Must have authorization to work in Canada for at least 1 year.

Shift Details:

Night shifts, 10 hours per shift
Flexible scheduling available
