Full job description

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) Designer de mode passionné(e) et créatif(ve) pour se joindre à notre client, un détaillant de renom dans la région, et participer au développement de collections en lien avec la stratégie produit de l’entreprise. La personne retenue sera impliquée dans l’ensemble du processus de création, de la recherche de tendances à la conception des produits, jusqu’au suivi de production.

Temps plein. Permanent.

Responsabilités :

Participer à l’ensemble du processus de conception de produits : recherche de marché, création de concepts, esquisses et ajustement des coupes ;
Développer des designs de produits alignés avec la stratégie produit et les objectifs commerciaux ;
Effectuer une veille des marchés internationaux afin d’identifier les nouvelles tendances, tissus et techniques pertinents pour la marque ;
Collaborer avec les équipes de design, production, approvisionnement, graphisme et ajustement pour le développement des collections ;
Participer aux séances d’essayage et approuver les éléments de production liés au design (tissus, garnitures, couleurs) ;
Présenter les collections saisonnières et partager des analyses liées aux tendances et aux orientations du marché ;
Assurer le respect du calendrier de production et le bon déroulement du processus de développement des produits ;
Analyser les performances de ventes, gérer les budgets et contribuer au développement de produits répondant aux objectifs d’affaires ;
Collaborer avec les autres designers afin de créer des collections cohérentes et alignées avec l’image souhaitée ;
Participer à divers projets et effectuer des déplacements au besoin.

Profil :

Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle similaire en design de mode ;
Diplôme d’études collégiales ou formation pertinente en design de mode ;
Expérience dans la mode contemporaine (un atout important) ;
Excellente maîtrise de Adobe Illustrator et Photoshop ;
Bonne connaissance des outils Microsoft Office ;
Bilinguisme français et anglais (afin de communiquer avec les fournisseurs outremer 50% du temps) ;
Excellent sens de la mode et capacité à interpréter et traduire les tendances ;
Connaissance démontrée de la construction de vêtements et du processus de production ;
Excellentes habiletés en communication et en présentation ;
Grande attention aux détails et orientation vers les résultats ;
Capacité à travailler en équipe, influencer les collaborateurs et gérer plusieurs projets simultanément ;
Flexibilité et capacité d’adaptation dans un environnement en évolution rapide.

The successful candidate will be involved in the entire creative process, from trend research and product design to production oversight.

Profile:

Participate in the entire product design process: market research, concept creation, sketching, and pattern adjustments;
Develop product designs aligned with the product strategy and business objectives;
Conduct international market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques relevant to the brand;
Collaborate with the design, production, sourcing, graphics, and fitting teams for collection development;
Participate in fitting sessions and approve production elements related to the design (fabrics, trims, colors);
Present seasonal collections and share analyses related to market trends and directions;
Ensure adherence to the production schedule and the smooth running of the product development process;
Analyze sales performance, manage budgets, and contribute to product development that meets business objectives;
Collaborate with other designers to create cohesive collections aligned with the desired brand image;
Participate in various projects and travel as needed.

Profile:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar fashion design role;
College diploma or relevant training in fashion design;
Experience in contemporary fashion (a significant asset);
Excellent proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools;
Bilingualism in French and English (to communicate with overseas suppliers 50% of the time);
Excellent fashion sense and ability to interpret and translate trends;
Demonstrated knowledge of garment construction and the production process;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Strong attention to detail and results-oriented;
Ability to work in a team, influence colleagues, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
