Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Part-time Server and be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will contribute to a lively atmosphere where guests want to return again and again. Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and service
Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly

Requirements

Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
Familiarity with POS systems
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or hospitality is advantageous
Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
