Job description - Loader Operator on a Drilling Rig

We are looking for experienced Loader Operators to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on drilling rigs on remote drill sites and will be expected to adhere to safety regulations and standards. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in operating aa loader, as well as a strong understanding of the equipment's capabilities and limitations. The ideal candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Operate a Wheeled Loader safely and efficiently.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform daily routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment.
Complete daily safety operations reporting.
Work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications and Skills:

First Aid - Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C (CSA Std. Z1210-17 - Intermediate) Must be valid in Alberta.
H2S Alive - Energy Safety Canada
CSO - Common Safety Orientation from Energy Safety Canada.
Must have a valid Loader Ticket.
Other Contractor Orientations, as required.
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation for travel to remote sites
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Read, write, and speak English

Experience:

Minimum one-year operating a wheeled loader on a drilling site.
Drilling rig experience will be considered an asset
Excavator experience will be considered an asset

Willing to provide additional training to suitable candidates

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $120,000.00-$144,000.00 per year
