Job Title: Payroll Analyst
Location: York Region, ON
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$24.00/hour
Work Model: Remote

Our client in York Region, ON is actively looking for a Payroll Analyst to join their team.

Position Description:

Processes related to Overtime (Accrual/Wage Test). Process payroll transactions.
Payroll Account Reconciliation.
Prepare and notify Finance staff of Payroll amounts for funding the bank
Pension Payroll.
Reconcile and prepare Monthly Pension/RRSP/TFSA Payments to Vendor and also review any issues with pension/RRSP or TFSA process.
Liaises with Mobility and Business Units on International Assignment issues and updates to payroll. Monthly reconciling.
Assists team-members and actively participates in identifying process improvements.
Quarterly review of payroll reports relating to T4/RL1 production to asses any adjustments required.

Skills & Qualifications:

Completion or in pursuit of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, in affiliation with the National Payroll Institute.
Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, peoplesoft, SAP, dayforce is an asset.
Ability to work under pressure and established deadlines
2-3 years of experience
Attention to detail
Good communications skills
