Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and attentive hospitality. Your energetic approach will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they walk in. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry knowledge, customer service skills, and passion for hospitality in a lively environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and assist them to ensure a positive first impression
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards
Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Manage time effectively during busy periods to deliver efficient service without compromising quality

Requirements

Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
Basic understanding of the food industry’s standards for serving, upselling, and guest interaction
Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is key
